Emails released by the U.S. Justice Department in 2026 show Musk himself raising visits: in December 2013 he wrote to Epstein, "Is there a good time to visit?", and in November 2012 he asked which night would be "the wildest party" on the island. Reporting has not established that any visit took place — but the exchanges cut against his account that Epstein was the one pursuing him and that he refused.
